Nature's Valley Beach

Nature’s Valley Beach is situated in Nature’s Valley in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Nature’s Valley is only 30 minutes away from Plettenberg Bay, but has managed to remain relatively undiscovered and the beach serving this small village must be the most secluded and untouched of all the beaches along the world famous Garden Route. What it well known for however, is being the final pit stop of the popular, yet grueling 5 day Otter Trail. This beautiful beach is a very welcome relief to the tired bodies and feet of the intrepid hiker.

The beach stretches from the mouth of the Groot River to the mouth of the Salt River and is perfect for surfing, paddling and surfing. Fishermen have the option of fly fishing in the lagoon or surf and rock fishing. One of the best reasons for visiting the beach is to star gaze. Because its location is so far from the big city lights, this is a wonderful spot to enjoy the night stars and if you patient enough you may just see a shooting star or two. So don’t miss getting there before sunset with your picnic basket and blanket, you are sure to be in for a treat!

There are no facilities at the beach so remember to bring along your own refreshments!
