Nabana Market Stall is situated 15 km outside Hazyview in the Mpumalanga Province, South Africa.

The market stall is located right on the road for easy access and visitors will the freshest fruits and deli delights here. The fruit is as fresh as you can get as the local farms in the area bring their produce directly to the stall, no cold storage beforehand.

Citrus fruit can be found during the winter months, while the summer months, December through to March produce Mangoes, Litchis and much more. Don’t forget bananas, after all this is banana rich land. Avocado season runs from March to August. Fruit rolls and packaged nuts add to the selection of treats.

Other than fruits and nuts, shoppers can find skincare products, avocado and macadamia oils and coffee from Sabie Valley Coffee. Local jams, pickled goods and the famous Nabana’s home made Peri-peri sauce.

Thyme Restaurant on site, provides shoppers with breakfasts and light lunches if you have time, kids are welcome.

No admission fee is charged.

Climate

Rainfall occurs mainly in the mid-summer months, with December and January seeing the highest levels. 

Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 17˚C and 30˚C.

Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 7˚C and 19˚C.

Transport

There are daily flights from Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town into the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Mombela (Nelspruit). Car rental companies are available for easy access to the surrounding areas, Hazyview is 60 km away which is just under an hours’ drive. Road trips from Johannesburg via the N12 and N4 will take approximately 5 hours.
