Xamarin Golf Course is situated within the 300 hectare Panorama Park Nature Reserve, which is home to the Xamarin Country Estate, a mere 4 km’s from Lambert’s Bay. The Estate offers much more than golf and visitors to Lambert’s Bay and surrounding seaside villages such as Elands Bay, St Helena Bay, Saldanha and Langebaan may just come for the wine tasting or 4x4 trails also on offer.

The Xamarin course is a 9-hole, 34 Par Semi-private Parklands type golf course and is 2 367 metres in length. The name Xamarin refers to wild animals in the Nama language and the golf course has no shortage of wild game that roams the fairways. Zebra, Impala, Eland and Springbok graze on the fairways and sometimes even the greens, meaning no disrespect we are sure. Njala can also be found on the property, but tend to remain in the thicket. An abundance of bird life allows for the tranquil atmosphere all golfers look for while out on the course.

Natural rock formations surround the course making for a very scenic and natural environment in which to play. The course has a few daunting water hazards through its 9 holes and golfers should not think the small town course will be a “walk in the park”, it challenges its players on a minimum of four greens which demand accurate play.

The Xamarin Estate offers accommodation and visitors can choose to stay in their caravan park or self-catering units.
