Pretoriuskop Rest Camp

Pretoriuskop is only a 9 km drive from Numbi Gate in the Southern part of the Kruger National Park.

The camp is surrounded by rocky outcrops and picturesque granite hills and here you may be lucky to spot the more rare species like sable buck and rhino.as well as the more prolific species such as impala, zebra, giraffe and wildebeest.

The H1-1 to Skukuza is well worth driving, but even better are the views from Hippo Pool and Doispane Road, from which you can look down on the Sabie river and its riverine beauty.

Pretoriuskop lies central to several historic places and spots and within close distances you will find the original transport riders’ route, the birthplace of Jock of the Bushveld and the Albasini ruins.

The first tourist hut built in the park, the Wolhuter, can be found in this camp highlighting it's historical unique character.
