Balule Rest Camp in Central Region, Kruger National Park, Limpopo

Balule Camp is a satellite camp of Satara and Olifants Rest Camps. It is a small, rustic camp, close to the Olifants River with 6 rondavels and a camping site. There is a communal bathroom and a communal kitchen with scullery, gas stove and gas freezer.

There is no shop or restaurant facilities and no reception at the camp. Check in must be done at Satara or Oliants Rest Camps. The camp has no electricity but has gas geysers. Lighting at night is provided by Lanterns.

Animal calls at night make for an exciting stayover and for the photographer this is a favourite spot.
