des couleurs inoubliables

A popular attraction for tourists visiting the Knysna area is the Noetzie Beach. Situated at the end of a dirt road in Noetzie, this small beach offers visitors a secluded little piece of paradise.

The beach was made a conservancy as the very rare African Black Oystercatcher made his home on the beach. This outstanding beach has a lush green backdrop to the stunning sun kissed sand. The beach here has a magical air about it, no doubt because of it surroundings which includes none other than the well known Noetzie Castles - three stunning castles set amongst the forest covered hills! In the 1930’s modern-turreted castles were built along the beach, and currently stand resolute on the edge of the beach. They are rented out for short term vacation stays.

The water is pristine and safe for paddling, swimming and kayaking as well as surfing, whether you are a beginner or more experienced. Fishermen don’t mind playing the waiting game with their catch here, the views are breath-taking, and they won’t find a more relaxing atmosphere than at Noetzie Beach!

Noetzie Beach is perfect for a romantic stroll and picnic with a loved one, it provides a wonderful place to watch the sun set and be completely, surrounded by wonderful nature.
