Brenton-on-Sea Beach

Locals claim that just outside of the town of Knysna, on the Western Heads, at Brenton-on-Sea, lies one of the most wonderful beaches on the globe.

There are rocks to climb on, rock pools to cool off in and a long sandy bay for beach walks and shell hunting.

For the energetic take a 7km walk to Buffels Bay and back, have lunch or an ice-cream and take a leisurely stroll back.

Brenton Beach is also a popular fishing spot but beware, swimming can be dangerous due to the strong rip current.
