Pecanwood Golf Course in Pecanwood Estate, Hartbeespoort, North West

Pecanwood Golf Course is set alongside the beautiful Hartbeespoort Dam. The course is built inside the wonderous Pecanwood Estate in Hartbeespoort, making it not only a beautiful course to play, but a beautiful place to live as well!

The course is an 18-hole Parkland style course with Kikuyu Fairways and Crenshaw Bent grass greens. It is 6537 metres long, but don’t let the length deceive you, the course is more about brains than strength. It challenges you mentally and is designed for golfers to think their way around the course.

Pecanwood is undoubtedly one of the finest golfing estates in South Africa, the course, designed by none other than the “Golden Bear” Jack Nicklaus himself. It inherits his pedigree and flair for the game that few courses around the world can boast! The signature hole is the famous 13th, which is played over a corner of the dam to a peninsula green. You can often not only find golfers here playing a game, but also anyone who enjoys a glorious site over the dam and a magnificent sunset too!
