Elands Bay Beach is the main beach in the small fishing village of Elands Bay along the Cape West Coast. The area has some of the most beautiful and best beaches in the world, where kilometres of coastline offers unspoilt and all-but-deserted white sandy beaches.

The pristine Elands Bay Beach is a well-known surfing spot, fondly referred to as “e-bay” among the fraternity of surfers. Its legendary left break produces world class waves meaning it is much like Jeffery’s Bay, only without the crowds. The laidback town of Elands Bay is not overly developed which keeps the beach quiet and not over crowded. It is the perfect spot for relaxing, taking long walks, sunbathing as well as whale and dolphin watching.

Baboon Point, on the mountain above Elands Bay Beach, is a definite attraction once visitors have shared in a beach picnic and had their fill of sunbathing. There is rock art in the caves at the Baboon Point Cliffs and it is a highly recommended stop for visitors to Elands Bay Beach.
