Salmon Bay Beach, just south of Ballito central, is a great place for holiday makers looking for a warm and temperate climate all year round.

A popular beach among the surfer crowd where any surfer, beginner or pro, can find a good wave. Due to how exposed the beach is, it makes for a very consistent surf.

This unspoilt beach is the perfect getaway for family and friends, spend your afternoon on the beautiful area of golden sand soaking up the sun and relaxing while you watch the surfers catch some gnarly waves. Locals often also launch their boats from here and the popular beach is often filled to the brim with sun bathers so be sure to get their early to find a good spot!

In the early morning, late afternoon or early evening you can share the beach with anglers. You may be lucky enough to see them catch sand sharks! Fishing is best at these times for it is a lot quieter and there aren’t many crowds, so if you aren’t a crowd person these times are the best to visit the beach.
