VWS Trail Challenge

Come experience the splendour of early morning Cape Town, enjoy a scenic trail run/walk and support a worthy cause. The Volunteer Wildfire Services are one again organising their annual charity run and this year the VWS Trail Challenge is offering two new routes!

The Trail Challenge is run and organised entirely by the volunteer wildfire firefighters under the VWS banner and all proceeds go to the Volunteer Wildlife Services, a 100% voluntary fire service, which relies on donations from private individuals and companies as well as direct fundraising, including the Trail Challenge. The VWS is dedicated to the protection of biodiversity and the preservation of our natural heritage.

What a way to start you Mother’s Day, experience the beautiful Deer Park, the slopes of Devil’s Peak and Table Mountain plus this year the race will take through some areas that have seen, firsthand, the destruction of wildfires that the VWS has helped combat and show why it’s so important for us to help protect our Natural Heritage.

Come join in a fun filled morning run/walk and support these brave men and women!
