Blue Horizon Bay is a peaceful, seaside holiday resort which can be found almost precisely equidistant between Port Elizabeth and Jeffrey’s Bay. This little village also lies close enough to the Garden Route to extend your travels and explore the routes natural beauty.
Blue Horizon Bay’s biggest attraction is its relaxing atmosphere where days can be spent strolling the beaches picking up shells or catching up on your reading while listening to waves effortlessly crash on the shore in the background. The Stadens River Mouth just west of Blue Horizon Bay has beautiful beaches with great dolphin and whale watching opportunities and Jeffrey’s Bay is easy to reach and is one of the most renowned surfing spots in the world and has numerous attractions on hand.
The surrounding area also holds appeal for nature lovers with many hiking or mountain bike trails as well as nature reserves to explore, but on non-beach or not so sunny days, the friendly city of Port Elizabeth offers city-style entertainment, historical attractions and plenty of restaurants.

Climate
Blue Horizon Bay receives approximately 561 mm of rain annually with rainfall all year round.
Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 16˚C and 27˚C.
Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 7˚C and 21˚C.
Transport
There are daily flights into Port Elizabeth International Airport approximately 37 Km’s away along the N2. Car hire facilities are available at the Airport.
To reach Blue Horizon Bay from Port Elizabeth, follow the N2 west and take the first off-ramp past Seaview Main Rd. Then head south for 12 km until you reach the sea.
