Headlands is a lovely relaxed holiday resort in the famed KwaZulu-Natal Province, also known as the Zulu Kingdom. Just 50km north of Durban and close to the bustling resort of Ballito, Headlands offers holidaymakers the best of two worlds.

A magnificent lagoon teeming with birdlife laps pristine beaches where dolphins and whales often frolic close to shore. In addition to rock and surf fishing, Headlands boasts some of the best spear-fishing reefs in the world and deep-sea fishing is available from the nearby ski-boat club.

World-class golf courses are a few minutes’ drive away.

As Headlands is still relatively undeveloped, accommodation is limited to self-catering chalets, cottages, beach houses and duplexes which are in huge demand.

The famous Zululand game reserves and historical Anglo-Zulu battlefields as well as the St Lucia World Heritage Site are a leasurely drive away from Headlands.
