It’s is all about paying homage to fresh, delicious flavours and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a chill lounge upstairs, in which delicious meals can be enjoyed at leisure, as well as an outdoor deck for sundowners and snacks on warm summer evenings. 

The Burgundy Gherkin is an owner-run pizzeria and restaurant that is backed by passion and a commitment to creating a fun, relaxed vibe that does not negotiate on quality.

Although our pizzas and pastas are, naturally inspired by traditional Italian recipes and methodologies, the Burgundy Gherkin has infused these timeless classics with South African flavours for an innovative approach.

This offer applies to eat in clients only with a valid south African id book. no book, no cook. This offer does not include drinks, coffees or dessert and  cannot be used in conjunction with our loyalty card program.

Patrons may bring their own wines but as we are fully licensed, a corkage fee is applicable.
