Renosterkoppiesdam in Southern Region, Kruger National Park, Limpopo
Slightly south of Stevenson-Hamilton Hill is another cluster of hills known as Renosterkoppies, which is Afrikaans for ‘rhino hills’.
There is also a waterhole which is regularly visited by rhino, hence the name, as well as other animals such as lion, hyena and a great number of impala.
The hills are a favourite night-time roost for baboons and if you drive there in the late afternoon you are sure to see them gambolling about the clifftops.
