South Africa
beauty, you'll never forget

Almost midway along the R28 you will reach the Nhlanganzwane Dam, a restful oasis hardly ever without animals coming in to quench their thirst or nibble on the trees nearby.

Giraffe and graceful waterbuck are common sights here, peering undaunted at sporadic herds of zebra which stir up eddies of dust in their energetic play around the water’s edge.

You should keep a watchful eye out for lion who tend to concentrate on this area.

The pictures above were taken during the drought period of 2015/2016.
