Dzombo East Dam in Far North Region, Kruger National Park, Limpopo
The Dzombo East Dam is located on the S144 (old main road). The Dzombo East dam and Dzongo West waterhole are next to the Dzombo river, which had one of the Magnificent Seven named after him.
This elephant roamed this area around Shingwedzi. His left tusk weighed 55,5kg and his right tusk 56,8kg. He was shot by poachers in 1983, but his tusks were never recovered.
