Magoebaskloof Spring Festival

Spring Time is Festival Time

When the whole region of Haenertsburg blossoms into life it means its time for the Magoebaskloof Spring Festival and what better way to celebrate the beautiful flowers and colours than with a fun-filled festival!

The festival has two main hosts, the Haenertsburg Village which holds the annual Spring Market from the 22nd to 24th September and the Magoebaskloof Hotel which will be home to crafts, art and food stalls, all hand manufactured and high quality, for the duration of the festival. There will be numerous stalls for you to peruse from handmade soaps and lotions to quality fashion and jewellery!

Foodies can nibble on sweets, cheeses, biscuits and all sorts of homemade goodies and the festivities will include a beer garden, wine tasting and live music.

The Open Gardens are the real draw card to the Spring Festival and keen gardeners will be spoiled for choice with three breath-taking gardens to stroll through and admire the flowering cherry and crab apple blossoms, the huge display of azaleas and Japanese Maple.

Not only are the gardens amazing, Haenertsburg Village and surrounds transforms into one huge colorful garden - wander through the streets where a selection of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs invites them to sit for a while.
