Barberton Golf Course

The Barberton Golf Course is one of the oldest golf clubs in South Africa, opening in 1884. The Club is situated in Barberton in the Lowveld and is surrounded by the beautiful Barberton Mountains. Please note that the Club is not open on a Monday, unless it falls within a public holidays.

This beautiful, yet challenging course is a 9 hole, 18 tee Parklands course with two 36 par course options that have magnificent views in all directions. This is an uphill course where one should try to stay out of the buffalo grass which represents the rough.

The clubhouse offers visitors a friendly welcoming atmosphere along with first class service and with freshly prepared meals and snacks as well as a good selection of wines, beers and spirits this is easily accomplished. The very popular “Barberton Daisy” Tournament is held here every year. This year 2008 will be the 45th Tournament.
