The Warrior Toy Museum is another of those little gem attractions in Simon’s Town. Situated virtually around the corner from the Simon’s Town Heritage Museum, these two stops make for a perfect day out with a late lunch after at the Waterfront.

The Museum has been operating for a number of years and Curator Percy Van Zyl has created a haven of goodies for collectors of toy airplanes, trucks, buses and lead soldiers. If you are only starting your collection then you will be pleased to know there is a sales section for both existing and budding collectors.

Visitors browsing through the Toy Museum may be surprised at how large the collection is. This will be a special visit for boys of all ages with over 4000 model cars and plenty of ships, airplanes and soldiers. There is also a working train that runs through the museum. Not to be out done by mostly “boy” toys, the museum is also home to over 500 dolls, doll houses and many Teddy Bears to ooh and aah over!

Dedicated to toys of all shapes, sizes, makes, models and themes this is a place where you can step back into your childhood and explore the wonderful world of toys.
