Seaview Lion Park in Plase Port Elizabeth, Port Elizabeth, Oos-Kaap
The Seaview Lion Park in the Eastern Cape of South Africa is situated just 25 km from the city of Port Elizabeth.
The Park is primarily a Wildlife Educational Park and its aim is to “preserve some of Africa’s wonderful wildlife and to ensure that every visitor to the Park is educated and encouraged to conserve our wildlife for future generations.”
On arrival to the Park you are likely to see Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeast, Duiker, Monkey and some of the other 40 different species that roam the game reserve. There is also an enclosure with tigers and the best time to view these beautiful creatures is feeding time. Another three enclosures are home to white lions which were previously part of a special breeding program.
Visitors have the opportunity to experience personal encounters with certain animals such as the lion cubs and other cat species, but under strict supervision and for a limited time period of 5 minutes.

Climate
Port Elizabeth has a warm climate and mild rainfall throughout the year. It is also known as the windy city.
Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 15˚C and 29˚C.
Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 5˚C and 21˚C.

Commercial Airlines offer flights into the Port Elizabeth Airport where Car Rental facilities are available.
