Groovy Balls Adventure Park is situated in the Valley of 1000 Hills in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The Valley of 1000 Hills area lies between the city of Durban and Pietermaritzburg, approximately a half hours drive from Durban city centre.

Visitors have an array of outdoor activities to embark on in this area, but none can compare to this one. Groovy Balls, or Zorbing as it is referred to, is an extreme sport where a participant is placed inside an inner capsule inside a large transparent ball and then rolled down a hill. Rides offered are between 60 metres and 150 metres, with different types of balls including an aqua ball where the participant is placed inside the ball with 20 litres of water allowing them to slip and slide in the bottom of the ball, surrounded by a pocket of air. All courses or grooves are professionally designed making it a safe as well as an amazing experience.

Groovy Balls has no time restrictions – come for one ride or stay the entire day.
