Innibos is an iconic Afrikaans arts festival which continues to attract locals and tourists to the Mpumalanga town of Nelspruit each year. Recently visitors exceeded 100 000 in number. The Fiesta Awards in Cape Town voted Innibos the country’s most popular festival and, watching the numbers climb, it is not surprising.

The key attractions at this family friendly festival are the artist themselves. Over 200 musicians, actors and artists will showcase their talent on various stages throughout the event. A unique event is the Book Crawl where festival goers can hop on board a bus and travel from venue to venue listening to different writers talk about their books and do readings.

In addition to the fantastic performances, Innibos is also about crafts, art and food! Hundreds of stalls are open for the duration of the event, creating a vibrant epicentre where festivals goers can browse for hours. The restaurant and beer garden will be open to provide refreshments amongst all the activities and a fully equipped and supervised kid’s entertainment area is also available to help keep the little ones amused.
