Bay Gallery in Langebaan, Wes-Kaap
The Bay Gallery is a small Art Gallery in the centre of Langebaan. Situated close to the beach it is a must stop for visitors who would like to take some authentic West Coast art home.
On arrival at this quaint Gallery, visitors enter up a wooden staircase into an attic type room full of colourful paintings, sculptures and ceramics. The art exhibited is by local artists of who most are residents of Langebaan. What’s nice about the Bay Gallery is that there is something of everything and art lovers shouldn’t expect to only see white fisherman’s houses and boats.
There is always a large variety of artwork on display and the gallery regularly updates their exhibitions for special events and festivals that the town may be hosting during specific seasons. Some of the Artists exhibiting are Zach Mukwira, Marie Prinsloo, Annetté Dannhauser and Sandy Esau.
