Bloukrans Bridge Bungy Jump

Worlds’ highest commercial bungee bridge

The Bloukrans Bridge Bungy is situated in the Tsitsikamma Region in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.

The Garden Route is full of adventure activities, but the Bloukrans Bridge Bungy must be the most famous. The Bridge literally lies across the border of the Eastern Cape and Western Cape and is the worlds’ highest commercial bungee bridge. At 216 metres it is also the highest commercial natural bungy jump in the world.

Holiday makers and adrenalin seekers can visit the bridge at any time of the year as the bungy jump operates 365 days a year in all weather conditions, apart from gale force winds. Veronica Dean performed 19 jumps in one hour at the Bloukrnas Bridge and still holds the world record for this feat. Bill Boshoff achieved his world record in 2008 for 101 jumps in a 24 hour period, but his record was broken in 2011 by Scott Hunty with 107 jumps, also at the Bloukrans Bridge.

Jumpers are secured in a full body harness combined with an ankle connection. Face Adrenalin’s main priority is maintaining the highest quality safety standards and has a 100% safety record. So why not join in and take the high bridge walk and plunge – you can bring a friend along the bridge walk for moral support!
