Harties Aerial Cableway in Melodie LH, Hartbeespoort, Noordwes

Once closed and almost forgotten, Harties Cableway was restored and brought back to vibrant life with some of the latest Swiss technology, sporting 14 new six-seater cable cars with wrap-around vision.

Dassie Loop

The 1km Dassie Loop with its impressive panoramic views over the waters of Hartbeespoort Dam is a great place to stroll around while spotting the fauna and flora that flank the Magalisberg Mountains; one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. There are informative placards pointing you to all the places of interest around the area.

Food & Drink

Restaurants, fast food stalls and a bar are all on site, as are picturesque seating areas and bomas. For those special occasions you can hire your own personal boma.

For the whole family

Leave the children playing at KidsZone while you browse for local arts and crafts, curios, and souvenirs in the Little Shop at the Top. Otherwise just chill with a cold beer, a glass of wine and stunning views at the mountain top bar.

Our conference venue is proud to have won the award for Best Conference Venue in the North-West Provincial Tourism Awards (2012).

Our facilities can cater for a variety of events, including conference, matric dances, weddings and smaller events such as a romantic date, where many have chosen to propose atop this mountain surrounded by breathtaking views.
