World Class Art Fair

Art Franschhoek will be hosting its 4th annual world class art festival this October in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley. Just as with fine wine and food, so too fine art must be “experienced” to be appreciated!

Franschhoek is one of South Africa’s premier art destinations with its numerous galleries and resident artists, so when an Art Festival is being held, we naturally expect Franschhoek to be the host. Visitors can look forward to a weekend of artwork and exhibitions as the many galleries open their doors to the public. The galleries are all within comfortable walking distance from each on the main road in the village, in addition visitors can also view artwork on display at some of the wine farms which include Grand Provence and La Motte.

Garden and Art Tours are also available however the highlight of the festival will no doubt the unique Masterpieces from Franschhoek Private Collections Exhibitions – a once off display of exquisite art on loan from private owners for the weekend. This special addition to the show will include some never before seen works from the likes of Alexis Preller, Maud Summer, William Kentridge, Dumile Feni, Robert Hodgins and many more!

Prices  : There is no Charge to View the Art. Special Events may charge a nominal Entrance Free.
