A Thirst-Quenching Affair

The Bay Sports Bar and Restaurant once more invites Capetonians, and those visiting the fair city of Cape Town, to join in the celebration of wine and beer at the annual Bay Wine & Beer Festival.

Whether you prefer a bottle of the finest vino or a draught of the coldest craft brew, this festival is the perfect tasting day out. Thirteen wine farms will be participating in the festival and will be offering tastings as well as wine sales at cellar door prices. Some wine estates participating are Ernie Els, Zevenwacht, Wellington Wines, Franschhoek Cellars and the award-winning Klein Constantia Wine Estate. The Craft Beer Tasting Tent is hosted by Newlands Spring Brewing Co. and beer lovers will not be disappointed with the vast selection on show.

The festivals main focus may be that of the liquid kind however, the day will not be without plenty of activities for the little ones, jumping castles, face painting, popcorn, candyfloss and even a petting zoo! Topping off the festivities is some great live music and an array of delicious deli-style foods from the many fantastic food stalls that will be cooking up a storm to help soak up some of the alcohol!

So, grab tickets for the whole family and come join in a fun filled gathering that is bound to be a vibrant and jovial afternoon for everyone!
