The Lion Park

East London’s Own Mini Game Reserve

The Lion Park in the Eastern Cape of South Africa is situated just 5 km from the city of East London.

At The Lion Park, visitors have the opportunity to view some of Africa’s most powerful animals up close. The park has an amazing number of animals to view. Apart from the lions, including rare white lions, you can also see tigers, cheetahs, giraffe, white camel, zebra, antelope, crocodile and the park has an array of bird life as well.

Cuddle the lion cubs or feed the buck and giraffe, this park is for everyone.

Climate

East London has rainfall in the summer months.

Summer months, November to March will have average temperatures of between 15˚C and 27˚C.

Winter months, May to August will have average temperatures of between 9˚C and 22˚C.

There are Domestic flights into East London Airport on a daily basis. Hotel transfers, taxis and car rental companies are available for easy access around the area.
