Bethulie Dam

The Bethulie Dam lies north of the town of Bethulie and is connected to the Mynhardt Game Reserve which is home to indigenous antelope, Black Wildebeest, Zebra and both Spotted and American Mountain Deer. The 160 ha reserve is one of the oldest municipal reserves in the province and has a small holiday resort with a caravan park, some campsites and some chalets.

Bethulie Dam is a favourite spot for picnicking and a good venue for water sports such as fishing, canoeing, power-boating and windsurfing.
